1 Happy New Year

K, I'm going to try much harder with this project starting today. Here is my first picture-

I spent New Year's in Mesa. (Where else would I have spent it? :P ) We were going to go to a Masquerade Dance Party but when we got there it didn't look that great so we all decided to use our $5 for sparkling cider and we went to a church parking lot and had our own dance party. Then we went to Tim Schnepf's house for the countdown and to watch the ball drop in NY. Then we went to Brein's house and played Ticket to Ride. After our game we went to Denny's at about 3:30am for some breakfast. It was delicious! All in all a great night, but mostly because I spent it with my friends. :) Happy New Year!

Earth! Water! Wind! Fire!

Well tonight the Red Mountain Institute in Mesa had a Harvest Dance. It was costumes and everything. It was a total blast! Keirstin Paterson, Me, Brady Weston, Brein McMillan, & Brenda King dressed up as Captain Planet and his elements!

Joy Ride

Little different than a close call of a car crash. Hurray for quadding! One of the girls, Kara Palmer, that came with us to the cabin was nice enough to bring her three quads and one dirt bike. Pretty much all day today was spent taking little rides on the quads, then taking a break with some games or just lazy chatting while a few others went for a ride and then we were back on the trails! I wish I got to do this more often, it is so much fun!

Today was pretty eventful too. It was General Conference today so a few of us went to Rachel Button's house at about 8am and we made eggs, bacon, and pancakes and had breakfast and then watched the first session of Conference. After that we went home and then a few of us went to Josh Durrant's house for pizza and the afternoon session of conference. Then that night a bunch of people went to Josh's and we watched Ironman in his theater in his basement and then just hung out in the backyard which is where this pictures was taken. We did all kinds of crazy pictures. Jumping pictures, cartwheel, handstand pictures- everything. :)

Messy Mayhem in Mesa

Okay, so tonight was pretty eventful! My Mesa friends and I planned a messy night. First we started off with a spaghetti dinner, where your hands were tied to the person next to you and you had utensils that were too big. This of course ended up in a food fight.
After that fight was over we started painting with our feet. which of course ended in a paint fight. Needless to say- we were all pretty dirty by the end. We finished the night with some ice cream of course!
